On Sunday I went to the barber shop and they gave me a haircut. Now this really does not see like it involves science but it does. When your hair grows it keeps your head warm. So when you cut your hair more body heat is allowed to go out from your head. This is why people cut there hair in summer and keep there hair in winter. Cause in summer you want more body heat to go out so you can be warm compared to winter when you want to stay warm.

In class we saw how when you light plastic it folds into itself very quickly. The way this is science is when you light the plastic the chemicals heat up and get more energy. When that happens the chemicals start to turn into gas which gives the plastic the effect that it is shrinking into the middle. This shows how a solid turns into a liquid which then turns into a gas.

This week I learned what a horrible diet does to you. The way that this involves science is the fact that when you have good diet your metabolism speeds up in your body so that you can lose calories. When you have a fatty diet your metabolism slows down and you do not lose calories that fast which then you gain weight. But you can also gain weighty of muscle when you pump your muscles they grow bigger and you can gain weight of muscle.

Track the sport of speed strength and agility. Well that is what I did this week that involved science. When I was running for the long jump pit I felt wind going passed me. That wasn’t wind that was fluid friction. There are four types of frictions there is static friction there is fluid friction sliding and rolling friction. With out those us humans would never stop in motion like Newton said a object at rest will stay at rest and a object in motion will stay in motion unless a unbalanced force acts upon it

Today in class we learned how the distance and the size of the moon is able to controll the diffrent things that happen to earth. The moon usally has a big effect on the tides of the oceans and seas. the moon is so big that us humans are able to notice the the change that the moon does to our planet. I also learned that it takes 30 earth planets to reach the moon.

Music, music, music it is something that brings every one together. Earlier this week I was listing to my I pod and I did not realize all that goes into making a sound first when you hear a sound those are tons of ways that are traveling. When they reach you they go to your ear drums and that sends signals to your brain.

What I have done this week that involved science is go jogging. The way that this involves science is when your body gets t hot you need to shed some water to maintain a good body tempter. This is what you call sweating. As you sweet bacteria forms around your skin this is why it is good to wash and kill the bacteria on your skin.

Reading, Reading ,Reading. You need to know how to do it to function good in the job carrier. So you can guess what I did this week. They way that reading involves science is when you look at something it goes through a series of processes to get through your brain so that you can decode the image and see what you see. For instant when you look at this paragraph Right now all you see is letters and words. You never think of what your body is doing to show you what you are looking at. Everything you look at has Rays of light and your eyes pick up those rays. Which then those rays go through your eye and then go to sensors which then are transferred to your brain but when the light is transfer to your brain it actually goes up side down but when it gets to your brain your brain puts it right side up so you are able to see.
Wednesday, March 24, 2010 Swimming, swimming we all love swimming. Did you know that water has waves? Ok for example if you splash some water around in the bath tub. If you look closely you will see that there are a whole bunch of rings that go from where your hand is to out ward. These are called waves. Waves are every where in radio in light heck even the things you hear have waves. They are an important part to the hearing of humans and other animals that can hear. There are many types of waves the most common wave that occurs the most is called a transverse wave. A few examples of a transverse wave are,

Sound, sound, sound, without it we would not be able to do the things we are able to do today. Can you imagine a world without music or the sounds of nature. What does this have to do with science you may ask. Well early in this week I was listening to my IPod. This is an example of electricity see in order for you to get the sound from your IPod there are a series of things that the electricity has to go through for example there is a water Dam that is collecting electricity from the water going through it. After that the electricity there is put through a series of wires which is sent for miles when finally it reaches a transformer that makes the electricity a safe voltage then that has wires that connect to your house witch then you can charge your IPod and get the electricity from that to turn into sound energy. These are just some of the steps it takes for electricity to travel before it gets to your house.

Everybody gets hot. No matter where you are you get hot as long as your human at least. Humans are mammals which that means we have hair and give of our own body heat. Now a reptile is not mammals they do not give of their own heat. They rely on the sun for there heat energy. If you haven’t noticed a lot of reptiles are close to there grown the ground has a lot of heat so the reptiles can get there heat a lot faster than if they were tall animals.
friday may 5 “Eating.” Everyone needs to do it and every one does it. You can guess what I did this week. Now the way that eating just some plan old cereal is broken down like this. When you eat your sylivia has things called enzymes in it. Those enzymes break down the food in your mouth. When you swallow the food your stomach takes out all of the nutrients and caries that straight to the blood stream. Which then blood can travel to your heart. How does this involve science you may ask. Well this is what you call chemical science that is the science of your body and how it produces energy for you. This is wht I did this week that has involved science
thursday febuary 25
the thing that i did this week was walk up a hill. the way that this involves science is the fact that a hill is a inclined plan. a inclined plan is a simple machine is there are a hole bunch of simple machines a incline plan is one of them. the formula is you have the same amount of work but it feels easier the factt hat the effort you have to do is spread out.

the thing that i did this week was sweat. the way that this involved scince is it was body scince. wehn your heart pumps fast it trys to loose water which inturn is sweat. so this is what i did this week that involves scince.
thursday febuary 9 2010 The thing that I did this week that involves science is get a bruise. The way that this involves scnice is when I got hit on my leg it got bruised. When you get bruised on your leg it is actually a blood clot. It is not a blood clot that will kill you but it hearts. In order to make it go down you have to put some ice on it so it reduces the swelling. The reason that I t makes the swelling go down is the fact that it cools the blood and lets it go down. This is what I did this week that involves science.

This weekend I was at a wrestling meet and when i was walking in there was a peridioc table and there was a litttle kid who saw it and wanted to know what it ment and i told him some of the symbols that i knew. !!!!!
Friday January 8 2010
over the break i realized than there was ice in the drive way so I decided to run across it so when I did i slid and slid another 15 feet due to the fact there was no friction and also that it was hard for me ot get up the fact I had nothing to grab a hold of.
Wednesday January 15 2010
This week I was trying to hold a pull up for as long a s i could and I realized the longer i was up there I felt more gravity pulling harder on me.
Friday January 22 2010
This week my science teacher cut herself. She had to get stitches the reason being is the fact that the cut was so deep that if she would not have got stitches the cut would have stayed open and eventually would have got bacteria. The way that this relates to science is that if the skin is closer with the stitches it is easier to heal than if the skin is spread far apart.
Friday January 29/2010
The thing that I did this week that involved science was finish my skate park. The way that this involved science is we had to figure out how we could make there be more energy so that the marble could go over all the obstacles. We had to adjust the course so that mostly kinetic energy was the main energy. We also had to make sure that there was a lot of potential energy so that there would be more kinetic energy.

The thing that I did that involved science was ate breakfast. The reason that eating breakfast involves science is when you eat your food your body will break the food apart to get the nutrients out of it. The process of that is called digesting. When your digest food the good stuff goes to your blood and heart and the bad stuff goes well you know were so this is the thing that I did that evolved science this week.

A force that pulls every thing down that is in the earth.
