Air Pressure
Dictionary definition:
The force exerted by air, whether compressed or unconfined, on any surface in contact with it.
Citation:
"air pressure."
Dictionary.com Unabridged
. Random House, Inc. 02 Feb. 2010. <Dictionary.com
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/air pressure
>.
My definition:
To me, air pressure means the force applied by the air in the atmosphere, also known as barometric pressure.
Example/Pictures (again, with proper citations...look at using images with creative commons licenses):
Citation:
Descloitres, Jacques . "Low-Pressure System over Northwestern Pacific". Visible Earth. 08 June, 2006 . <

>. 3 February, 2010.
Non-Example:
A non-example of air pressure could be a vacuum.
How do I remember this word?:
I remember air pressure, by remembering a weather forecaster. If you ever watch the weather on the news, the weather forecaster, shows an animation in which it points out where the wind is traveling. Sometimes the words “hot” or “cold” are shown.
