1. On the Simpsons Lisa and Bart were told to mow the lawn and things like that. Then they said they quit because they didn't want to work. But in science because you’re always working even when your heart is beating. So basically it’s like they wanted to stop their heart from beating. :)

2. We had to do the mile on Tuesday and after I finished it both, my legs, my shoulder and my stomach hurt and my face was on fire. The science in this is that my heart had to work more then it’s used to so it reacted to this badly (like a tantrum lol) XD

3. On Saturday I was in Ellensburg and it had snowed in the morning but at night the snow had hardened and my sister said: that it was because it had gotten warmer so the snow melted some and then it got cold again so it froze and that’s a good example of phase changes

4. I went up to the mountains and was playing in the snow when the sun started shining and the ice/snow on the trees started melting which is a good example of phase changes again

5. when I with my mom and KT at the lohonions (they are friends to my family) we were playing with one of Christy’s stethoscope (she has had lots of surgeries she just got a kidney cause she had both removed and now she got a new one) and I showed her husband how fast my heart was going even though I was relaxed. And he said all he heard was the dub of the heart beat because it was going so fast so it sounded like dubdubdubdubdubdubdubdubdubdubdubdub.

6. This happened a week later but is continuing the last blog then in the weight room when I was exercising on one of the machines that shows your heart rate it said it was 180. This freaked me out so I asked Ms. M about and told her about what happened at the lohos (that’s short for lohonions). And she said its fine it just means I have a naturally fast heart beat

7. In math we have this gizmo and in the guide it says: "Have you ever heard someone wish they could find a quick and easy way to lose weight? The next time you do, just tell the person to go to the Moon! Of course, they will not lose any mass, which is what they really want to do, but they will lose weight. Your weight depends on the gravitational force pulling you down. Because the Moon is so much smaller than Earth, its gravitational force is much weaker, and your weight on the Moon will be much less than your weight on Earth." and after I read that the first thing I thought of was: were talking about science in math class! AAAAH!

8. A few days before the beginning of the school year on the day we took KT to central KT had to go to a meeting and so I and my mom were looking around at the campus. When we got out side of the building that KT was at was a lady with a telescope. I started talking to her and she let me look into her telescope. What I saw was mercury (or maybe it’s Jupiter) and two of its four Galilean moons. It was so cool! :D

9. I always tell people who ask why snowball (my dog, he's a dappled dachshund/pug mix) sneezes so much. The reason is he has a problem with his nasal (I think that’s what it's called) so that when he gets really, really excited he sneezes a whole bunch. I actually like that because sometimes he will be sneezing with excitement but not waging his tail so it lets me know he is really excited.

10. in the book I’m reading (twilight eyes by Dean Koonts the book doesn't have anything to do with the twilight series) the main character said he felt like he had lost all his bone marrow because he was so freaked out by something (I say something because that way if you read it you I won't ruin any surprises).

11. I found out while watching pbs (I was watching it because there was nothing else on don't make fun of me) that a cockroach can live without its head for 10 days because it doesn't have a brain in its head so it would just die of dehydration

12. I was on Skype with KT the other day (she's at central in Ellensburg) and I noticed that sometimes when I talked I could hear my voice coming from my speakers a few seconds later after I said it. that made me realize that the reason I heard the sound of what I said coming from KT's speaker a few seconds later was because she was so far away from my laptop that the sound of my voice first has to go all the way from Kent to Ellensburg and then out KT's speakers then into the microphone and all the way back to Kent from Ellensburg where it comes out my speaker. This is sound and electrical energy.

13. I was plugging my charger into an outlet and when I put it into the holes of the outlet I saw a spark where it was touching the inside of the outlet and I realized the spark was caused by the sudden transfer of electrons that had been waiting for a wire to go onto. So when I started plugging in the charger the electrons suddenly started moving which caused a spark

14. I noticed this a while ago but I kept forgetting to write it. One time when I had the fan on and it was rotating when it would turn past me a few seconds later I would feel the air. So I think this is because wind energy is slowish (I mean inside). I think this is because it has to push the air all the way across the room. Also yesterday I was telling my parents about waves and diffraction and my mom was really amazed about what diffraction does (my dad wasn't that interested)

15. In the book twilight eyes the main character threw a knife at a bad guy and it landed partly on his throat (but he was still alive) and when he was yelling his voice sounded metallic. This is because metal in the knife hit the vocal cords which changed the tone and pitch oddly.

16. Today when I was walking to first period I noticed that my laptop felt like it weighed like almost nothing. I think this is because my muscles have gotten used to the weight of my laptop because I carry it on my shoulder almost everyday.

17. I have this tepee from my church and I set it up and I put my head in one of the windows but my ears were still inside and when I talked my voice sounded really far away I think this is because the sound waves from my voice had to travel around the tepee and in through the opening which I think made the amplitude lower.

18. When I was running the mile today at the end I started running as fast as I could even though my legs were hurting. And suddenly I couldn't control my legs and I couldn't stop running until I ran into the chain fence. I asked Jeremy about this and he said that it was because of an adrenaline rush. And he said that an adrenaline rush can cause someone to lose control of basic motor skills

19. I saw avatar yesterday (Sunday) and I noticed that how the person could control the avatar I think is by invisible super fast and powerful radar (even though it was fiction that would be how it would work). Also I got a red laser pointer for Christmas and just the other day I got a different one. But last night my dad said the fish chased after that new one I got even though it’s small and dim. And he said they swim a way from the laser on his gun. and he pointed the laser on his gun at the tank and I saw that I could see the line of the laser in the water because the water was effecting the light and I realized why the fish ran away from his laser it was because it was super bright and it had multiple lines of light when it hit the water so it scared the fish because it seemed really bright and kind of big to them.

20. Today my mom made me go to the movies with her to see this boring movie. While we were watching it I noticed that I could see the line of the light from the projector. At first I thought this was because of the glass it hits first. But at the end of the movie I realized that I was seeing the dust that the light was hitting.

21. Today in class I remembered when KT was in like 2nd 3rd or 4th grade (most likely it was 4th grade) I wasn't in school yet but my mom took me to her class and I started running circles around the teacher while he was talking. And what the teacher said was this is an example of the moon orbiting the earth (or was it the earth orbiting the sun?).

22. In class the light on the wall from the window looked like water the shadows that look like waves are heat waves. I think the reason they are visible is because the glass does something to the heat in the light to show the waves.

23. In class today the upper part of my cheek was hurting so I started rubbing it and then I noticed I could feel the shape of my skull. So I kept feeling my face and could feel the edge of the socket of my eye. I never thought I could feel my skull. I went to the nurse because of that and it turned out I had a fever of 101 which isn't that high but high enough to get out of school

24. i remember this one time i got electrocuted. my bug light thats in my room the light part was flipped over. this kind of bug catcher (but i call it a bug light) has a little light shineing down on a sticky pad but at my house my dad filled a plate-bowl with soapy water and has the light shine over it. so since my light was flipped over in the soapy water i turned it over and was putting it in perfect place when i gripped it by the metal sides of where the cord connects to the light cover and it made my shake and stuff and when it stoped i stared at it and slowly backed away

25. today at C21 someones charger blew a fuse and when it did it made a load bang (at least it seemed load because it was so quiet). i went over there to look at it and i saw that there was a black spot on the edge of the where the lid goes (it's one of the outlets on the floor) and i also looked at the part of the charger that had been in that black spot and the black coating on it was gone on that one spot. i think this is because the lid was sharply bending the cord so it was hard for the elctrons to go through like when you bend a hose to stop the water from going through.

26. hi again i'm starting this again but i might not do it as often and im probably talking to nobody. yestuday there was 2 sonic booms i didnt notice probably because i was asleep when it happened. anyway the sonic boom was caused be 2 jets taking off in seattle after a seaplane because they had a no air thing (i forgot what it was called) because the pesident obama was in seattle. well in kent my mom was at winco and she said the sonic boom shook the building and she thought that one of the shelve-things fell over.

27.
its now september 20th 2010, anyway i was thinking after school how another way that black and white are opposite from each other then just color. another way they are opposite is black is no color but white is all colors
