I mowed the lawn today, and realized how fast our backyard grass grows. I wondered why. I think I can explain it by describing our Washington weather. Recently, we've had quite a few lightning storms and torrential downpours, and today the sun has come out for the first time. It is extremely refreshing. But all that water then a sudden high amount of sunlight food for all the plants I'm sure are causing quite a bit of growth.

I ate a rather disappointing apple for lunch today. I'm very picky about how much juice consistancy is in my fruit. I speculated the reason why maybe this apple had less juice than the others. I'm guessing that whoever grew it didn't water it to a healthy excess, possibly even to a minimum, to save water costs; Something I see very often in big corporations. Big surprise: I look at the sticker and there is some widely distributed brand name on the front. Goes to show that plants do absorb all of the water they need, and if that isn't enough, will produce less juicy fruits.

Science now explains so many things about our brain with Neurons. I feel sad, supposedly because the information gathered in my brain due to recent events and my brains conceptions of the events release neurons through my brain, disabling things such as interest in activities, recreation, or humor. Then the neurons travel through by bloodstream to make me feel tired, numb, and preventing my muscles from smiling easy.

This is an outrage! I'm so glad our laptops don't have webcams on them.

Electricity isn't merely and singularly something used only in our electrical appliances. Our brain uses electrical signals to message various parts of the body to function a certain way. Just typing this, tons of messages are being sent from my brain, and my brain is recieving many messages to decode from my senses. I see what I'm typing, and I want to type the right word to go after it. My brain sends a message to my fingers to move to the key, and my brain see's what I'm typing confirming it's the right key I just hit.

Various Questions

Where does light get all it's energy? I mean, after a year, the light shone from the flashlight that I pointed into the sky one night will have traveled trillions of miles into outer space? And we have to spend like a billion dollars on the fuel just to create enough energy to get the space shuttle to the moon. What the heck?

Did anyone ever think that being afraid of the dark might be instinctual for us humans?

Where did meteorites go? We find all these huge craters from thousands to millions of years ago, but a rock that huge just disappearing? Rocks don't do that, even over millions of years. Mountains are proof. So where did all these epic meteorites go?

I see science within the brain. I personally experienced the power your mentality on something has.
Let's say you're working out hard, and your coach is pushing you harder. You think I can't do this anymore. I'm about to die. I'm a failure.
Now you said it. Now it's true.
But then, a spike of hope in your thoughts; You're stronger than this. This isn't hard at all. Nothing can stop you.
Suddenly, your muscles work faster, energy flows more easily, and the pain is lessened. You succeed.

There's more science in your body than just the brain. When you eat something, the miracle of the human body functions to start the digestive process.
It does this by waking up enzymes, bacteria, and acids in your body so they can break down the nutrients. Your blood focuses and flows towards your digestive system, making the process of nutrient harvesting stronger and absorbing the nutrients to flow through your body and give you energy and vitamins your body needs to survive.

Medicine, the blood stream, and oxygen. Our bodies are so complex, it's simply a miracle. Our complicated lungs pick up oxygen and attach it to blood cells that moves throughout our bodies and provides energy to our organs. Food is broken down into complex chemicals for more complex chemicals. And this is happening this very second to whoever is reading this, unless you're a ghost.

Electronics. Powered by a ton of electrons moving throughout the machines and powering super fast calculations or functions. Only certain things conduct it, which mystifies me, because all atoms have electrons. But I'm guessing this science is beyond me.

Of course there is the common thing you see in everything that moves, everyday. Friction. You create it when you walk or slide around on the hardwood flooring with your socks on (Yes I'm guilty =D), or even just drive your car, the wheels create rolling friction on the street (The reason for roads getting worn out so fast).

I also like to tease my mind with the thoughts of all the temperature change our body goes through. Even just walking inside, energy is being transitioned from one matter to another. Compared to the outside air, which is cold, it is sapping energy from our bodies and can be labeled the absorber of the energy in our bodies situation. When we walk into the warm room, our bodies are the absorber of energy and taking the heat from the air to restore the energy lost to the air oustside.
