I and my friend bought some Pepsi and some mentos. So we decided to try
To see if we put a mento into the Pepsi bottle and see if it will really explode. So we put the mento into the Pepsi bottle and shook it then opened the cap and it exploded all over me. This was scientific because we shook the bottle to create more acid so the soda would explode.

Something that I experienced that was scientific was when you shake a soda you cause air pressure which causes the soda to explode and also soda has carbon I think.

Something that I experienced that was scientific was that music, or anything that makes a sound(s) is sound waves.

Over my vacation I saw some water slides, so I decide to go on one. I was wearing jean shorts so when I got to the top and slide down the slide I wasn’t going fast I kept on stooping. Because friction was causing me to slow down my shorts were rough and the slide was smooth. Also I was experiencing sliding friction.

I went riding on a bike with my friend, the weather was sprinkling. When we wanted to hit the brakes we would skid on the ground; which is sliding friction.

I went to my friends I saw the Newton balls. I started to try out the Newton balls and see how they work. When you lift one ball up and let go it changes from potential energy to kinetic energy. Also when you pull the ball away and are left to fall, it hits the first ball then hits the opposite ball on the other side.

Something that I experienced scientific was when my friend and I were trying to skateboard I was riding the skateboard down a rough/bumpy road. While I was riding I started to lose balance and control where I was headed to a grassy area; this is because of friction. The friction between the board and road is what made the board stop.

What I experienced out of science class that we use reflection every day we see refraction almost everywhere.

While my friend was combing her hair; her hair started to make little shocking noises while she was combing her hair which was creating static electricity which then made her hair static (sticking up in different places) also it was making friction because two forces were rubbing against each other.

Something that I experienced that was scientific was when you open cans you use a can opener. When you use can opener you’re using force to open the can but also a can opener is gears. The gears is a simply machine you turn the handle to turn the gears.

What I experienced that was scientific out of class was a remote has electricity. When I press a button I’m closing a circuit so electricity can pass and respond to the button I pressed, this also happens with phones and other objects.

When shooting hoops with a dodge ball I made most shoots, from two pointers to three pointers I made. The dodge ball is light and small and less gravity acts upon the ball. Then changing the dodge ball into the basketball and shooting hoops I didn’t make as much hoops as I did with the dodge ball. The basketball was bigger, and heavier, and more gravity acts upon the basketball.

Something that I experience out of class that was scientific was when my friend and I went roller-blading. The concrete outside is bumpy, so after roller-blading I roller-blade into my garage. Garages have smooth concrete so after riding from ruff bumpy concrete then onto a smooth surface you slow down. Friction is causing me to slow down.

Something that I experienced out of class that was scientific was when I was cleaning out the fish tank I had to put some medicine for the fishes. I have them like 5 drops of the medicine; the drops of medicine were blue. So the medicine changed the water blue which was a chemical change to the water.

Something that I experienced out of class that was scientific was when my friend and I were in my friend’s car sitting and listening to music. All the sudden on the screen it says low battery. So my friend and I get out of the car and we locked the car. So we go inside to get the keys from are friend we try to open the car but it won’t open. We figured we drained the battery so my other friend so he brings the jumper cables and attaches from his car with charged battery and attaches to the other car that has dead battery. What I learned was that the jumper cables provide power/energy for the other car that the battery drained in order the car to start again.

How do you get energy to be active? Well you start be getting energy from the sun, which is in food you eat, like fruits. Then the energy is changed to chemical energy the food we eat. Then when you start running the chemical energy is changed to mechanical energy.
