Some science that I have seen in the real world is at my parent’s restaurant when you wash rice the water turns a milky color and the rice becomes clearer the rice and the water mixed with a sort of powdery/filmy layer on the rice and it became a white color. As more water ran over the rice and then the water became clear again. This would be a mixture because the layer on the rice had mixed with the water and changed color.
1/7/10 at my parents restaurant (again) when I got drinks the soda fizzed this was caused by a chemical reaction when soda is pressurized and the pressure is released some if the carbon fizzes depending on how it is moved.
1/14/10 at my house I was studying my air soft gun and found how it worked the energy from the battery flowered into a motor that brought back a piston and which at a fast rate shot air out of a chamber and launched the bee-bee.

at the pool I went down a slide and my feet hit the water and flipped me over. This was caused because the momentum of my upper body flipped me over. This has to do with inertia.

As I was looking at air soft guns on the internet I found some gas powered air soft guns this work differently then electric or spring powered air soft guns which use pistons to launch the BB but gas power uses green gas, red gas, C02, or propane to launch the BB. This works by unleashing a blast of the C02/etc. into the chamber to launch the BB forward.

1.lights can use a timer to make them flash, turn off in day time, and make patterns. The timer actually doesn't tell time but will let energy through for a cearten amount of time and then reset to turn of the light
2. heat when you leave your computer running the left side will get warm that is because of parts rubbing together and giving off heat=friction
3.rope burn= friction your hands rubbing on a rope which has a lot of rough surfaces (one strand a little bigger then a hair woven together with 2 more that strand is woven with another strand of 3 woven with another strand of 6 woven with another strand of 12 etc. this makes a surface that has a lot of friction 4.
4.speakers can project a sound out at a large area becauseof defraction this lets sound travel in a cone sort of shape that allows it to travel around corners
5.reflection allows waves to bounce off certain objects the objects that reflect are normaly solid because the wave can't move through it
6.sound waves the reason that we can hear is because the waves viberate the hairs that we have in our ears and then our brain prosesses the vibraions int sounds that we know
7.speakers, phones and CDs the reason they can play sound is the sound is comprest into ones and zeros like 100110100111001001011010001001101 I have know idea what I typed in ones and zeros that is just an example but after that it is formed from ones and zeros back to words and the produced through the object you are using
8.phone bars the amount of bars that you have depends on where you are in a conection area that all have a different range number of waves and then as you near the edge of the range the next area is tould that you are entering the area of the next set.
9.continuing from the last blog the reasion that you can conect to people that are in a different area is because every area has a few lines that are conected to each other area and some from the same area.
10.light can be reflected off the water's surface because of the angle of the water this also Magnifies the strength and shows cause for blindness if you live on the water.(reflection)
11.the reason it hurts when you hit the water flat is the resistance and the energy like when you drop a leaf and it falls slowly because the air gets in the way the same is for water but water is denser so when you hit it it will hurt more because the higher you are the more energy you build. 12a tenis ball+energy+a dense wall=energy transfer when the tenis ball hits the wall with enough force the ball will concave and then reflect back and regain shape. the shape change is cause by not being able to pass through the wall because it is to dense
13pully systen Is helpfull because It decreases friction by placing a wheele under the rope to reduse friction
14 have you noticed that some trees will just fall over that is because when too much weight is of from the center od balance the tree can not take the weight and will break
15Have you ever don an expirement by makeing a coil and then sanding the ends placing the ends in paper clips attatched to wires attached to batteries and then the wire spins this is due to the fact that the ends now make an magnetic field.
16plants stand but they do not have any thing strong like bones to hold them up so how do the stand well the answer is they have an cell wall not that they dont have a membrane they have that to but the cell wall allows the to stand straight with no bones.
17 plants have cell wals and we dont why is thta well the answer is that we have bones so that holds us up and the reason that we do not need cell walls
