Yesterday during math the blinds on the window were up and the sun rays were coming through the window and when you looked at the window and you could see the heat waves on the wall, it looked like water was moving.
4/9/10 I was watching T.V and the show was showing Newton balls. Then I found out that Newton balls were named after Sir Isaac Newton who is the man who came up with the laws of motion. To work the Newton balls you grab one of them then let it go, that ball will then hit the one next to it and it will appear that the 3 middle balls just stand still (there are 5 Newton balls) but they do actually move just a little bit that then hits the last one which makes it go really high.
4/5/10 Two days ago I went to go help my dad at his new job at Tacoma, we were going on the freeway and the road was wet and this guy in a red SUV type of truck was going way above the speed limit which was 60 miles per hour. Then comes a green type Toyota coming in from an entrance, that Toyota is in front of the crazy SUV and tries to get into the lane on the far left and at that moment comes the SUV going really fast then the driver from the SUV notices the Toyota and tries to stop (let’s just say it didn’t work out so well). This reminds me of inertia, an object will stay at rest until an unbalanced force acts upon it.

Today I went skateboarding with my friends I can’t skateboard anymore because I haven’t done that in years so when I got on the board it spent like 50 seconds on the board then I fell. I was watching my friend Jose skateboard and I told him to tell me what he felt as he skateboarding. We were actually timing people to see how fast they could go around the whole apartments and back in the less time. Jose came in second place he told me that he could feel the resistance when trying to go up hills. When he was coming down the hill he gained lots of energy. He also lost energy going up the biggest hill, he came back down the hill when he tried the first time and almost hit a squirrel.

Today I was walking around my house playing with my dog cause she will never leave me alone. My dog gave me a moment of piece so I started to do my homework. Since we had been talking about static electricity for a couple of days I wanted to see if I could use static electricity to freak someone out. In my home my parents like people to not where shoes inside no one really listens, today I had socks on and so I rubbed my feet across the floor then touched a door handle and I felt a shock. I figured I could do the same thing again except this time shock my mom. It didn’t work.

Hey. I wanted tell you about something that happened at my apartments. In my apartments there are the lines of apartments; last Friday in my line of apartments was a fire it was on one edge of the line while live on the other. It was said that the fire started in the kitchen, the stove was an apparently was left on and the heat that came from the stove caught onto something which made spread. I was here at school when there was flames but my friend took pictures and it looked orange with a bit of red, when I got home all I could see was threw the windows from the outside, almost everything was black. The fire was up stairs and went through two apartments. There was a lot of water involved that the parking lot looked like it had been raining for a while. The good news is that the apartment is still standing the only thing is that everything is burned and nothing happened to the one that I live in. That actually had me thinking about the flame lab that we did earlier this year.

The other day I went to the restaurant that my mom works at to help her clean up. There is this box type thing under the dishwasher machine; in that box type thing goes any water chemicals that fall down from the machine. There was a lot of pressure in the box so it started to leak a little bit then it completely broke and there was water and chemicals everywhere. The box was expanding as more water filled up and from so water in the box type thing it couldn’t stay still so it broke and certain part of the restaurant got flooded. But no worries the restaurant was cleaned up before they opened the place up for business.

I was making myself some soup my parents told me to boil the water first. I was really entertained with my friends watching my favorite action movie, my parents had left. There were lots of bubbling going on when I remembered I turned around ran to the kitchen and saw lots of water coming out of the pot. I moved the pot to the side (but kept the stove on) I got the paper towel roll and started to clean the water. When I saw that the paper towel roll it was burned, it didn’t catch on fire but the paper towel roll got burned. On the bright side the soup ended up tasting great.

Hey I’m going to tell you what I did today. I went to my friend lupita’s house, Lupita is very close to me so I call her my cousin; from her house we went to her friend’s house which isn’t really far way since we all live in the same apartments. Lupita’s friend lives on the second floor like me and we decided to make water balloons. A lot of people walk by Yuli’s (Lupita’s friend) window so we decided to grab the water balloons and throw it at the peoples who walk by. Yuli’s mom caught us but we blamed it all on gravity because gravity was what brought the balloon down to the ground.

My friends and I were watching a T.V show where they were trying to get an egg into a bottle, so then we tried it. We got an egg, a bottle, paper, and a lighter; we got the piece of paper and lit it up and dropped it in the bottle then put the egg on top. It wouldn’t work but we tried it again and again and it ended up working. We even got some grass on fire but we stopped it because we brought water since we all were 99.9% sure that something was going to catch on fire.
