Just a couple of weeks ago my family and I were watch TV and my arm fell asleep so my little sister started playing with my arm so she pulls my arm back and hits herself right in the face with my hand and I just bused out laughing and my dad looks at me and asked why I was laughing so hard so I told him what happened and he laughed to. My little sister who was mad at us for laughing just sat back down and watched TV. You may be asking what does this have to do with force well it is simple. My little sister was the force which was pulling my hand to her face and the friction was her face because my hand was going one way and her face was going another. There you have it force and… well... friction and a good ensues of you have a little brother or sister.

Every Sunday my Dad watches football witch I will watch with him some times but others I just watch him jump up and down and yelling “TOUCTHDOWN.” I always have to tell him that they can’t hear you but he yells anyway. Now what does this have to do science? Well when he jumps up off the couch fiction because gravity is pulling down on him but the force of his legs is making him go up and then coming down.
2/1/10 For the Super Bowl this year we are going over to my older sister’s house for the very first time. Her name is Crystal and I get to see my bother in law and my niece named Jaden she is 2 years old and she is so cute. So my sister lives in and nice little house with a big back yard and two dogs. But I like going over there because they have a big trampoline because one I like it when me and my little sister go up and down at the same time which like she goes up and I go down. What does this have to do science? Well the black part of the trampoline is pulled tight and the fabric is a slick tap of fabric making the fiction of peoples feet making it easier to move all around the trampoline and making people a bill to go up and down also people coming down by gravity.

Yesterday when I came home from me and my mom went to the Safeway to get some dinner and we passed by the olive section and me and my mom just had to get some so we got all different type of olive big one, little one, round one, fat one, some with seeds in them. When we got home we just dug into them. Then I watch some TV wile my mom was on her computer looking up some website that talk about fruit and vegetable. Than I thought is and olive a fruit or vegetable? Well and olive is a … fruit and did you all so know that olive science? When you put the seed in the ground the soil and the water makes a chemical reaction and now the little seed turns Into a tree which ends up on my stomach. 3/24/10
I am going to get braces. But before I can get braces I have to get spares. Which I think hurt a lot. But what spares do is the put them in the back of your teeth in the spaces so that when they put the braces on it fits like glove. But what the spares do is they push your teeth apart so that it s easier. And how this works is the spares push so the spares are the force and the teeth are the motion and the end result… it hurts!

I love slinky they are so much fun in class we got to play with them. I made me think of when I got a box with all my older sister’s toys from when she was little and I loved to play with it but then I lost it so I am still looking for it. So I was think how do they make slinky. I think that they take the chemical metal an a different chemical and they mix the two chemical to make the slinky move and bend and different ways.

So over the weekend the day before mother’s day there was no more ice cream in the freezer and my little sister left the empty box in the freezer and I was mad but there was the two container in the freezer one villain and the other chocolate so I thought I would just have a bowl cream but the cream was frozen and I didn’t want to put the plastic contain in the microwave so I started to breathe on it to heat it up just saying I didn’t want frozen cream but after I stated to breathe on it for a while I ate it and it was pretty good.

My mom is growing a garden but with all this weird whether she has the cover the plants almost every night because she doesn’t want the plant’s to freeze than they die. So the easy way to think of this is like you have to wear a coat to keep warm or you get cool so that is why my put an bag or a container over the plants.

What are dreams and why do we have them just saying in the morning after I have had a dream I was think that I had to do something that happened in my dream and I forgotten which is a dream and real life. But what a dream is focus upon our thoughts and emotions, and speculate that dreams deal with immediate concerns in our lives, such as unfinished business from the day, or concerns we are incapable of handling during the course of the day. Dreams can, in fact, teach us things about ourselves that we are unaware of. How does this happen. So people think that we dream to exercise the synapses, or pathways, between brain cells, and that dreaming takes over where the active and awake brain leaves off. When awake, our brains constantly transmit and receive messages, which course through our billions of brain cells to their appropriate destinations, and keep our bodies in perpetual motion.

So my Dad was telling me that my older sister now knows what it takes to be a parent because my sister was putting Jaden down for a nap Jaden is 2 and ½ and she sleep in a bed not a crib so my sister is sitting on the couch watching TV while Jaden is sleeping then she comes out and says that she has to go to the bathroom so she goes then my sister tells her to go back to bed but after a while my sister thought that it was a little to quite. So she goes to check up on Jaden and there she is with her back turn sitting on her bed and as soon as she turn around there is all this lipstick on her face and on the dresser just everywhere and she is trying to be mad be it was just too funny. SO what does this have to do with science well it has to do with what is in the lipstick? Common ingredient in lipstick is wax, oil, pigment and dyes, fragrance, alcohol, preservatives and antioxidants. But there are also some harmful ingredients like lead, coal tar, carmine, lake colors, fragrance. SO just saying think of what you are putting on your lips. But don’t worry Jaden is ok she just had to sit in timeout for a little while.

Over the weekend me and my family had to take the dog to go get a bath and if you have seen my dog it is not an easy job my dog is a chow Samoyed mix which makes him looks like a great big bear and I think that is so cute. But taking him to get a bath takes about an hour or two because he is a great big ball of fur and we had to use all different type of brushes which are all most like pulleys because they pull the dead fur that is all tangle in his fur. Lucky we got him all clean and now he is just the big ball of fur he was before but he smells better.=) +=
I love to listen to music because it sometime makes me feel happy, sad, all different feels and I found out that music is known to affect our feelings and energy levels (Brewer, 1995). It can prompt memories, enhance brain activity and stimulate the mind. In today’s consumer-driven society, a piece of classical music can make us think of a certain make of car. A popular song can conjure up thoughts of a famous perfume brand. Why not harness this subliminal messaging method for learning? In a multimedia society, any tool that can be used to engage pupils is invaluable

Over the weekend we were having chicken and I was think what is the different between dark meet and white meat? I found out that dark meats simply have more myoglobin proteins, the magic stuff that ships oxygen to the muscle cells. Dark meats must use myoglobin as they transfer oxygen more efficiently to the muscles than glycogen. Muscles used more frequently, get to be dark. This is why non-flying poultry drumsticks are dark meat, while breast meat is white. When dark meat is cooked it turns the myoglobins to metmyoglobins, which is brown/gray. Metmyoglobins are very high in iron (albeit there is not that much in dark meat in the first place). Now what is white meat and is it a juice as dark meat? White meat gets the 'juice' through glycogen. Glycogen is a polysaccharide of glucose, an animal starch. Animal starch is stored primarily in the liver and broken down into glucose when needed by the white muscle. For now I think I like dark meat better.

Well I am in Miss. Piehl room and I think that I might just write this before I lost my mind. So yesterday my dad was taking me back home because the track meet and I was thinking about my favorite movie (Avatar) and I was thinking what it would be like to be in a different body what it would be like to move. Then it donned on me we are all like avatars in owner own bodies like moving your figures and toes, walking all that stuff is just like and the human person driving us is your soul. How this happen is your brain cells make us move and that is science.

So today track was canceled because of the thunder and l thunder and lightning. But I was thinking why lightning would try to stop us. But I found out that when you have metal hurdles that it is not so good. I found out that when the lightning hits the hurdle and a hurdler is jumping overand their foot hits the hurdle than it is not going to end well.
