1/4/10 A while ago I saw a picture and it showed an electron and a proton. The electron said I’m negative, and the proton came in and said I’m positive!

1/14/10 I was skateboarding, and whale I was skateboarding I was slowing down, this was happening because there was friction between the skateboard wells and the ground.

1/14/10 when I woke up today I looked at the sunrise. The sun looked very cool, and the light of the sun was reflecting off the clouds witch made a lot of light. Then the sun kept rising and the clouds look like gold.

1/14/10 when I was walking to class today, my foot got caught on the pavement and I almost fell. But then I caught myself by Putting my other foot on the ground and getting traction. This helped me stay up because the floor had friction with my foot.

1/26/10 Today when my alarm woke me up, I lifted my arm then let if fall on the clock to turn it off. My arm could fall on the clock because of the earth’s gravity. The alarm woke me up, but then I fell back to sleep for about another 8 minutes.

2/1/10 Today three times in the night, my sister’s bird woke me up. I was woken up by the bird because it was screaming very loud. The sound waves from the bird woke me up.

2/11/10 A while ago, I was playing with magnets. And when I would throw up two magnets, they stick together. They stuck together because of their magnetic force field.

2/22/10 yesterday I put some blankets on a couch, and I would run then jump on the couch. I did not get hurt because there was a Cushing below me. The reason I feel down was because the force of gravity was acting upon me.

2/23/10 A while ago I was making a skate park for a marble. We made the marble role down a tube, so at the top of the shot the marble had potential energy, and when the marble was falling it had kinetic energy. We had to have a less friction as possible, so that the marble could go fast.

3/5/10 A while ago we were playing with static electricity. And when we touched the metal part, we would get shocked this happened because, there was a rubber wheel in the middle spinning. When it would spin it would gather up static electricity, when we would touch it then all the elect city would be released into our bodies that why sometimes when we would touch it would sometimes hurt.

3/9/10 Today we were playing a science game. It was about saving the world using wind mills, hydro electric, solar power, power plants, and ETC. we had to save 7 parts of the world. The power plats work by spinning a magnet inside metal and the forces make energy.

3/12/10 Today we were doing a lab, this lab was about heat, one of the things we did was, cut out some paper so it was in the form of a spiral. Then we placed it on top of a burning candle, the paper spun because the heat was making the air above it move up. Because the hot air was more dense then the cold air.

4/12/10 A while ago in science we were electrocuting a pickle, and when Ms, Piehl would electrocute the pickle it would make colors in the metal rode’s that were in the pickle. So when Ms, Piehl would dip the pickle liquid and electrocute the pickle it would not stop lighting up because the chemicals in the pickle would react with the electricity and light up.

4/12/10 Once I was walking on the side walk outside my house. And whale I was walking I hit a bump on the side walk with my shoe and I almost fell. Because I was walking forward so when my foot hit the bump my speed was quickly changed so the upper part of my body was still moving forward and It still wanted to go forward but my foot stopped.

4/13/10 In science we were learning about compound simple machines. And it turns out that A Bike Is a compound machine because. The bike handles are levers, the pedals are levers the wheels are wheels and axles, and the chain and the gears by the pedals on the bike together are a gear.
#17 4/26/10 Today we were learning about the solar system in class. And I have learned that the moon is about 30 earths away from the earth. My favorite part about the and earth and sun is that the sun light takes 8 minutes the reach the earth.

4/30/10 One day I was Swimming in wild waves, I went down the water slides. When I did this I curved on turns in the tube so my water tube would ride up the wall, this happened because Of Newton’s laws 1st law “Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.”

5/19/10 This week the class was watching presentations about our solar system. Today we watched a presentation about Saturn, here are some of the thing I learned about Saturn it is that Saturn is 890,700,000 miles from the sun, and Saturn at its closest 744 miles from earth.

5/19/10 This week the class was watching presentations about our solar system. Today we watched a presentation about Pluto. And I learned that once we launch a rocket to Pluto it will reach Pluto by 2015.
#21 5/25/10 Today we were taki9ng some quiz about science vocabulary, it was very boring but it took like 5 minutes to complete. Today my science group will complete are 2nd extra credit project, hope we get all the credit!
