Today I will talk about the moon. A couple of days ago i spoted a full moon which was pretty cool. I mean looking at full moons are always pretty nice. This means that the moon was between the sun and our part of the world.

When i was playing the guitar i noticed that my fingers were starting to hurt. i guess it was all the friction that the guitar is inflicting to my fingers.

ARGH!! i'm tired of my parents telling to go to sleep early. Even though i had to study for the MSP last week but i don't want to, i'm forced to. So whats so good about sleeping in except the fact that you get energy from it? I did some research on sleep and guess what i found out. If you try to pull an all nighter just trying to study then its not going to help. You actually can't even remember what you studied about. If you don't get sleep you'll have to pay for it in the daytime.

the thing that i did this week that involves scince is playing halo 3. the way that this involves scince is when i play this i use a wifi controller. the wifi controller sends eltronic messages so that what ever i press on the controller responses to the game its self.

Today i gave myself many questions and thought were interesting. Like how the Earth rotates and we don't feel a thing even when your laying down on the ground you don't feel the Earth move at all. Another thing i thought was pretty cool was that we know that the sun is very far away from Earth but yet we can still feel the burnning heat of the sun. One of my questions were of course how did the big bang really create the universe? How long did it take for ALL of the things in space to form?
4/26/10
today i learned that the moon controls the tides we have on Earth. When i went to the ocean i saw some small tides but they soon became larger over time. I wonder if the moon controls the gaint waves that causes destruction also. 4/18/10
When i was looking outside for my moon project i saw a red dot that was close to the moon. When i went on the computer it said that jupiter was said to be seen today.

yesterday i was watching the puddle make waves, what i saw when i was defraction and reflection in action. the defraction in the puddle was making the waves spread out more the farther it got. The reflection was when i saw myself in the puddle.
4/2/10
when i was playing on my rock band up stairs my dad told me to quiet down since he can hear me pound on my drums all the way downstairs. So i have a feeling thats an example of the waves traveling.
3/25/10 today we talked about difraction during class, so i went home and looked for more examples of diraction. Like a t.v's sound wouldn't just be going in one direction and the light above me isn't just going to light one part of the room. This part about wave's is very interesting to me.

today i was so cold that i was playing with fire at home. when the fire lit i went next to it and put my hands over it. I'm stealing all the hot molecules to make me warm.
3/12/10
so today in sciecne i was rubbing my hands together really fast to create heat right? well it got super hot so i tried putting water on it to cool it down. But then i started rubbing my hands together again even though my hands were still wet. I noticed somthing while i was doing that. When my hands are wet and i try to create heat with my hands it won't heat up as much because the water reduces friction making it harder to create heat between my hands.
3/4/10
last night i was playing with the electrical switchs. when ever i turn on the switch the light bulb on the ceiling turns on. if i turn the switch off that means the the energy cannot get through to the light bulb.

Simple machines are everywhere in my life. Bats, doorknobs are simple machines. Simple machines can either be pulleys, levers, wheel and axle, gears, incline plane, wedges or screws. can openers, doors are compund machines this means that more than 2 simple machines are used to create this item.
2/19/10 Today I will talk about friction, friction is what helps us stop while we are running/walking. Also while you are rubbing your hands together you feel the heat right? Well thats friction also, friction can slow us down and heat things up.
2/11/10
Friday is tomorrow here is another science FUN FACT!!!! Today i will talk about gravity. Hopefully you have noticed that your always staying on the ground and not floating in mid air. That is because gravity is pulling you to the center of the Earth. Everything in this world is being pulled to the center of the Earth. Here is an Example have you noticed that everytime you drop somthing it goes stright to the ground? Thats gravity acting on that object.

Tomorrow is a Friday so that means FUN FACT FRIDAY! did you know that the force in star wars is different from our kind of force? We both and move things by using force but then again we can't control it. Force is a type of a push or a pull. We use force by pushing or pulling on something.

Friday is coming up again and that means ANOTHER SCIENCE FUN FACT!!! since we just got done with presenting our skate parks I think that I should talk about our skate parks. When our marble is on the top of the chute the marble has potential energy but when the marble goes down the chute the potential energy becomes kenetic energy.

Here's another random science fun fact!
Have you ever noticed (hopefully you did) that if you ever hit a wall you hurt your self? Well thats newtons 3rd law of motion
"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."
THIS IS YOUR FUN FACT FOR THIS WEEK!

while thinking of what to blog about, i thought of somthing that no one would think of bloging about. Walking has so much science behind it! Just by walking your feeling friction on your feet. When you push off the ground friction is used.
1/07/10
During P.E. today i expreienced an almost frictionless surface because of my shoes. without having grip and having a very smooth surface on my shoe. Trying to stop while running is a very hard thing to do. stopping while in motion is pretty hard if you barley have any grip on the surface just like Ms. Piehl's car story!
12/15/09 Right when school ended I went straight to basketball practice. The whole time I was practicing my free throws gravity was taking action on the basketball and also Newton’s 3rd law of motion. The gravity pulled the ball back down to the surface and Newton’s 3rd law of motion demonstrated the ball bouncing back when it hit the backboard.
