I love baking and making yummy things. Mosttly if they involve chocolate. Yesterday I made Hot Chocolate for my self because it was really cold outside. How I made my Hot Chocolate was I put one cup of milk in a pot on the stove. The milk slowly started to add A LOT of energy to the milk which made the milk boil. Then I added some Hot Coco powder in the pot and then I kept on mixing the powder in the milk until the powder disapppered. Then my Hot Chocolate actually started to look like Hot Chocolate. :) Hmmm.... I just realized that Hot Chocolate is a mixture. :O By combining the coca powder and milk together I created a mixture. :D Hehehe.
P.S. The Hot Chocolate was yummy. :p

Wow Gymnastics was pretty tiring yesterday. I worked so hard just to do a back walk over. Did you know that gymnastics is all based on phyrics? Well now you know. c(: I was trying to do a back walk over and I learned that by putting all my weight to my shoulders and move back and fourth about three times I will be able to gain enought momentum to flip over. :) It takes a while to learn it but I know I will get it down some day. (:

Oh no! Gymnastics is about to end. :/ Man gymnastics was so fun I'm going to miss it. But even if I'm going to be ending a sport. I am also going to be starting a sport to. :) I am going to be doing Basketball. I love basketball. I remember when I was little I use to always lose control of the basketball. But what I learned was that if I don’t hit the ball that hard to the ground the force I am bringing upon the ball isn't that much that it is going to come back up with little energy. So I started hitting the ball harder so that I can create more energy and force to the ball that it actually bounced back up to my level. The whole dribbling and shooting I just have to learn how to control that. But besides that I am ready to go. Adios Gymnastics. :/ Hello Basketball. :D

Brrr. Its been really cold lately. I don’t know about you guys, but what I do when it is super cold and when I dont't have a blanket or sweater with me I create friction to myself which can create heat. It may not warm me up that much but hey its better than nothing. I would put my hand on my arm and rub it back and fourth really fast then it starts to create a little heat and BAMM I feel warm. :p By the way my hand is rubbing against my other hand it creates energy and energy is heat so the more faster and longer I rub my hand to my arm the more energy I give it and the more heat I give to my arm. (:

Hmmm…. I always wonder how it would be like living in space. Oh wait I would be floating around. That would be kind of weird. I remember when I was little I always wonder how I actually stay on the ground when I walk instead of fall since the earth is shaped as a circle. Then I found out that gravitational force is what holds us down to the ground. Without gravity we would be all floating around.
2/12/10 Oh no! I'm sick and I don't feel good at all. Have you ever wondered how people get sick? Well I have. In fact I am think about that right now. I asked my friend on what he thinks and we both agreed that ever where we go there are viruses and bacteria that are too small to be seen, that could make us sick. On the other hand though or skins helps protect us from most of the viruses and bacteria but some gets in our body from the air we breath and the food and drink we digest. Others can also enter our bodies by our cuts or scraps. Once we get the virus though our white blood cells attacks them. So think about this. While your sick your body is having world war 2 in you to make you better. :)

Haven't you notice that it is getting super hot these days? Well I have. I barely used my fan in my room but now I do because I am getting super hot and sweaty. Hmmm…. Once you think about it… I wonder how the fan provides me with cooler air. What I think is that when the fan blades are accelerating it is pushing off the air molecules off there silted surfaces which is creating what we think is cooler air. Our fans actually helps evaporate the sweat off of us faster which to us it will seem like the fan is giving us cooler air but it is really not, it just provides more air around our area.

Hmm haven't you notice that we have a lot of simple machines in life? The stairs we walk on is a inclined plane, when we are turning the knob of a door that is a wheel and axle, when we are opening a can with a can opener that is a compound machines which means it has a lot of different kinds of simple machines put in one machine to help function it. Have you ever wonder how many simple machines can be in your room? Well I have. I was examining my room today and I notice that there are simple machines EVERYWHERE! My door knob, the fan blades, my clock, my door and even my shoes! Everywhere we may go we will see simple machines because simple machines is used everywhere to help ease up work for us. Can you name any simple machines you may have seen in your room??????? :)

Did you know our digestive system is science? Well I did. (: But do you know how it works and how it involves science? Well here let me explain that to you. Today I just eat some chips and I wondered what it Is going to be doing inside my tummy. Well once the food enters our mouth there are enzymes which helps emulsify and help break down the big chunks of food into a soft liquid and then after that it will slide down the esophagus and enters our tummy! After that the enzymes is in charge for digesting fats, carbohydrates and proteins. All of these enzymes helps work a smooth working digestive system. After that the food will be digestive and we will all end up with a happy snack. :D See how many times science has been involve in this? Science is EVERYTHING! Believe it our not. How our tummy's function is science! :)

I started running today at P.E. and then I stopped and started thinking and wonder how people get their energy? Then I started researching and I found out that we get our energy from plants and plants gets their energy from the sun. Our main energy source is the Sun. Our lights work because of the sun, our stereo works because of the sun, and we can move and walk and run because of the sun. It's intresting how the sun provides us energy don't you think so?
3/16/10
Ha-ha today I was super bored so I just started playing with my light switch by turning it on and off. Wow but you know what's so interesting about it when I turn off or on my light switch it effect 5 light bulbs! So that’s telling me that my downstairs kitchen lights have a series circuit. A series circuit is if one light goes out that means the circuit is broken and the others will go out as well.
3/26/10
Wow don't you think diffraction is so cool! Like have you ever been to a place where there is a lot of lights on the ceiling? Well picture a day without diffraction and all those lights all over the ceiling is just lit on that area and no where else. Wouldn't that be freaky. o.O If you still don't know what defraction is then it is when a wave goes through a small hole and has a flared out geometric shadow of the slit. Hmm.. Your probably like well that’s confusing. Here I will simplify it for you. :) Like if you are outside and the door is open and you talk not only the people in front of you would hear you but when the sound you project comes out of your mouth it is going to flare out of inside the door and surround the whole room, so that everyone in the room can hear you. That’s how diffraction work. :)
4/2/10 Hmm… -talks to self- can you ever name a time when you see light spectrums? Yes.. Hehe.. I see them after it rains and a huge rainbow starts to form. I also see these colors everywhere I go because everything in the world is colorful! xD This is what we know as Roy G. Biv. It stands for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. These colors are the seven colors of the light spectrum. Cool right. These light spectrum is the section of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum that is visible to our little pupils. hehe. xP
4/9/10
Today I was just enjoying the weather and examing my surrondings and then I started to wonder ... how exactly does our eyes work and how exactly can we see color? Light moves in a straight line and when light hits an object it bounce offs and is reflected into our pupils! Then our cornea will collect the light that's bouncing off of a object and focuses it to our pupil. Then behind the pupil is our lens which will help focus light onto the back our eyeballs. Then the back of our eyes has a lot of special layer of tissues called the retina, the retina is covered in photoreceptive nerve cells . We have two different kind of photoreceptive that have about 6 or 7 million cones and more than 120 million rods. The rods our the ones that can detect color and that is how we are able to see color! Cool right. :p
4/15/10
Wow, haven't you notice a lot of earthquakes have been happening; like the earthquake at Hatti, Chille, California and Mexico! Have you ever wonder why all these earthquakes are happening?? Well I have and the reason all these earthquakes are happening is because once an earthquake happens the tectonic plates starts to move and shift around. This will therefore create more earthquakes, due to grinding of the tectonic plates.Hopefully no more earthquakes will happen any time soon o.O
4/22/10
Track was totally awesome today! It is probably because we did the 100 meter dash. I am not really a sprinter but I do got to admit that was actually kind of fun. But what I did notice was that after I stopped running it felt like I couldn't even stop and when I did stop I actually ran a couple of yards passed the finish line. This happened because while I was running I was creating a lot of energy that when I suddenly tried going into a halt all the velocity that I carried through out the run was making me keep on moving forward because of all that energy I created. That is why it made me take more time to stop completely.
4/29/10 Hmm… I haven't been to the beach for like years! Well … okay I am kind of exaggerating now but you know what I mean. I love seeing the tides and the water waves… hmmm but have you ever wondered how we have tides? Well I did some research and I found out that we have tides because the Earth and the Moon are like magnets. The moon tries pulling Earth closer to it but the Earth has a bigger gravitational force that it can keep it's self still, but the ocean on the other hand doesn't have any gravitational force at all so the water would start moving and creating tides. So when we have a full moon the tides will be big … but when we have a new moon or just the crescent of the moon then the tides would be very small.

Oh no! Today I went to the Doctor's appointment and I just found out I probably have asthma! (Well not 100% sure but the Doctor told me I have to try using an inhaler) This relates to science a lot because this is a health issue I have with my body and how our body work is all about science. Asthma is a disorder of the airways, which may cause attacks of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and coughing.

Ahh! I am so scared for the track meet today. I feel like I am not going to do that good because there is this other girl at the other school who is just has fast as me. So yesterday my friend Stewart was helping me learning how to put my nose forward so that I can beat the other girl in the race we are doing. But I feel like, at the speed I am going to I might have way to much momentum that the weight I put forward would make me fall right down on my face. But.. I guess if it means beating her in that race, then I am all up for it. :)

I was looking at the moon last night and then I started to think, why do we only have one moon, when a lot of other planets have a ton! This is because we have less gravity on Earth than any other planet. Other planets, have a lot of gravitational force and we don't have that much. To be able to have a moon you need to have gravitational force or liniment to be able to hold it in place and our Earth doesn't have that much gravitonal force to hold a ton of moons. But even if we do only have one moon, I think our one moon looks super pretty at night. And at times all you need is one moon to bright everything up. hehe. :)
6/04/10 Yesterday was my best last track meet ever or I should say Conference Meet! I improved so much in my mile and my 800.
