And FYI, it snows in Snoqualmie because it is colder because Snoqualmie is at a higher altitude than we are down here. The water droplets that fall as precipitation (rain, snow, hail, sleet, etc.) has less time to melt, falling as half-frozen flakes. That's why it's warmer down here too, because we're closer to the earth's core than Snoqualmie.
